The Institute

The Institute of Sport Science is integrated into the Faculty of Human Sciences at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. It is constituted of three chairs: Sports Engineering, Health and Physical Activity, Sports Pedagogy/Sociology of Sport and the structural field Theory and Practice of Sports.

The Institute offers the following bachelor degree courses: Bachelor of Science Sports and Technology, Bachelor of Arts Leisure and Sports Competition, Bachelor of Arts Sports for Physical Health, Bachelor of Arts Professional Education and the following master degree courses: Master of Science Sports and Technology, Master of Arts Diagnostics and Intervention as well as the international recognized Master of Science in Performance Analysis of Sport.
